Various rank requirements include learning about paddle sports. The Senior Patrol Leaders have spent the month using the EDGE method, training Scouts about life jackets, the types of paddle sports, the parts of a canoe and kayak, and how to participate safely in paddle sports. Once everyone completed the training, the Scouts spent an afternoon kayaking and canoeing. Participants were able to work on requirements necessary for Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class rank advancement.
